Painting a mural on the house to make it look like a log cabin in San Francisco, California.
We recently completed a transformation project for a San Francisco Bay Area home. The homeowner wanted to turn their average house into a log cabin. We used our mural painting skills to bring this vision to life. We painted the entire front of the house with a detailed mural of a log cabin, creating a realistic and rustic feel. The mural included the textured details of the logs and the vibrant colors of the windows and doors. The result was a stunning transformation that completely changed the house's look and turned it into a cozy log cabin. Working on this project and bringing the homeowner's vision to life was a pleasure.
Outdoor mural painted with Keim mineral coatings
For the Richmond Annex mural, we used Keim Mineral Coating for the portion of the mural that extended over the roadway, and due to budget restraints, we used an Exterior Behr paint for the side panels.
The idea was that if, after 15 years or so, the side panels needed to be touched up, we could do so without having to block traffic to allow our boom lifts access to the portion of the mural that extended over the four lanes of traffic. As long as the budget allows, Keim Mineral Coatings is an excellent choice for exterior murals painted on concrete.
Preparation for the concrete is stripped bare, so the Keim primer will chemically bond to it. After that, we can apply the Mineral Topcoat. Although Keim's color pallet is somewhat limited, its beauty is its resistance to fading.
The manufacturing company has been around for just over 100 years. None of the coatings faded in that period because the pigments consisted of solid minerals, unlike standard paint. They will likely never fade, but Keim has a 100-year track record that is impressive.
